Isn't it horrible...

...when you spend a night taking photos and it turns out that of the 267 shots you took, almost all of them are crap?

Bleagh. Note to self: When taking a new lens out for a spin, test it out for a day before committing to using it for an event.

...when you've got absolutely nothing to blog about because your brain's fried from all the marking?

...when you leave your kick@$$ gaming mouse in your friends house for over a week and forget how sensitive the thing is?

Don't worry about the low percentage of good shots. If you could see the contact sheets of some of the great photographers, you'd see that good shots are the minority for even the best.

Canon EF 20mm f/2.8 on a 350d.

Wasn't aware of its limitations or possibilities when I took it out to shoot.

i love it when i get a new lens. the excitement from all the possibilities of it. + you always need a couple of shoots when using a new lens before you understand how it works. go out and take more photos... don't be disheartened!
